System file structure

Windor20 settings - Parameter description (date 03-01-2005)

General Description

1) A system file (e.g. IV-68) is used to describe all parts of the door or window, their manufacturing process and cycle names.

2) If there is only one manfacturing pass necessary, part description, parameter description and cycle names for up to two phases (manufacturing at end one and two) is in only one line.

3) If there is more than one manufacturing pass necessary, you have to define a seperate line for each required pass and phase with an assigned cycle name.

4) Special case: If there are additional passes necessary for one part, you have to increase the number of parts in the concerning line by the number of additional passes.

5) The cycle entries must be identical with the cycle names used on the machine.

Fields and parameters

Für den Aufbau der aktuellen Systemdatei gelten folgende Vorgaben und Vereinbarungen:
column value meaning
1 Sub-System (FEN = Windows, TUER = Doors)
FEN Window
TUER Door
2 Belongs to (R = jamb or F = Sash)
R jamb
F Sash
3 Identification of profil and position within jamb or sash
4 Reserve (presently not used)
5 Profile-heigth (presently not used, defined on machine)
6 Profile-Width (to be used for tenoning)
7 Type of processing on profile-termination-1 (tenoning for FASE-1)
8 Type of processing on profile-termination-2 (tenoning for FASE-2)
9 type of first measure: (AM, X, other on request)
AM external reference:
for sash-parts with position LI (=left), RE (=right), OB (=above), UN (=bottom) to define the distance between external edge of sash and external edge of jamb
for mullion and muntin to define for FASE-1 the distance of external edge of jamb or sash upto the left or bottom termination of respective par
X non applicable or without processing
10 value of first measure-type (FASE-1 or overlapping sash-parts)
11 type of second measure:
UE overlapping of "Stulp"-parts at double-sashed windows or doors when part-identification is LS or RS (left or right hung element). It determines the overlapping of the two sashes from the theoretical middle-line (+/-values)
AM reference from external-measure: like in col. 9 but for FASE-2
X non applicable or without processing
12 Value for second measure (FASE-2 or overlapping in double-sash)
13 Denomination of cycle, must be identical with cycle-name on machine
